Narrativ is a book marketing platform operated by Arcstone Labs LLC, based in the United States. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use Narrativ at narrativ-app.com.
Narrativ is intended for users who are 16 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a person under 16 has provided us with their information, please contact us at hello@narrativ-app.com and we will delete it promptly.
Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you sign up.
Book and marketing details: Title, genre, description, comparable authors, target audiences, ad budgets, and other marketing information you provide about your book(s).
Billing information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your subscription status and plan tier but never see or store your full card number.
Social platform tokens: If you connect Facebook or Instagram, we store the access tokens needed to publish content on your behalf. You can disconnect these at any time from your account settings.
Reader subscriber data: If you build an email list through Narrativ, we store your subscribers' names and email addresses on your behalf. You are the data controller for this information; we process it solely to provide the service to you.
Usage data: We automatically collect log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and session activity to operate and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal data, or your readers' data, to third parties.
We share your data only with the vendors necessary to operate the service. These vendors are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
Narrativ uses third-party AI services (Anthropic's Claude and Ideogram) to generate marketing copy, campaign ideas, and ad images based on the book details you provide. A few things to know:
This site uses Google Analytics (analytics) and the Meta Pixel (advertising measurement) to understand traffic, usage, and ad performance. Neither service loads until you explicitly accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. These are strictly necessary and are not affected by your cookie preference.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, your data remains in our system unless you request deletion. You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data (books, ads, subscriber lists, and campaigns) at any time by emailing hello@narrativ-app.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, and access controls that limit which personnel can access your data. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
